With reference to your favour of the 16th inst.,
we beg to inform you that we printed out to the
Manager of our New York Office that the wording of
their advertisement in New York trade papers relating
to Antimony appeared isleading and open to miscɔn-
struction.
By the wil received to-day we have a reply "rom
New York in wuch the anager states that the advertise-
gent of which you clan has been withdrum and a new
wording (of which we enclose a copy) now appeurs in
the trade papers.
Me are quite certain that our ew York Office
would not sell their materials to enemy countries,
and from the prompt manner in which the offending
advertisement was withdrawn, you may feel sure that our company will do nothing prejudicial to the interests,
of the Allied Countries.
